Yoshimi Kato, now in charge of the forge in Takefu knife Village, in Takefu. He took over the forge from Hiroshi Kato, a gradual handover that lasted a few years. Yoshimi was born in the latter part of the 70s, but is still considered the young generation. Yoshimi is a very humble and friendly man who produces fantastic knives, both in stainless steel and carbon steel. His knives often have spectacular designs and he likes to use damascus steel with a lively pattern. Yoshimi is very good friends with Yu Kurosaki, another popular blacksmith from Takefu. They both visited cleancut in the summer of 2017 and were surprised, among other things, that the sun didn't set until long after 10 pm.
