The steel is the highly regarded and hard Aogami Super carbon steel, laminated with two layers of softer steel. The blades are incredibly thin and come extremely sharp. Thanks to the thin blade, the knife slices exceptionally well, and the hard powdered steel ensures the edge stays sharp for a long time. However, these delicate blades should be handled with care as they can easily be damaged when cutting through hard particles.
This is a beautiful and high-performing knife that any true knife enthusiast will love!
