Large Umajiyama natural stone with renge. The color fades from beige to a rare red color. 

Umajiyama is quarried near the renowned Ohira mine in Kyoto.

The stone is hard, but not overly so, making it an excellent choice as a finishing stone. It also works very well for producing a smooth and medium-bright kasumi finish.
