A hard, yet creamy, Nakayama natural sharpening stone. Its ideal for kasumi polishing, producing a high contrast between the jigane (soft iron cladding) and hagane (hard steel core).

It leaves a silky matte, scratch-free finish on a kiridashi with iron clad while providing excellent bite at the cutting edge.
