Nakayama natural stone for kasumi polishing. It provides good contrast between jigane and hagane. Not mirror-like, but with subtle shades of light gray.
The sensation while sharpening is reminiscent of working on frozen butter: quiet, hard, and creamy-smooth. The finish is medium-light kasumi with high contrast and a silky texture.

The edge structure becomes glossy while still retaining good bite.
