Kiritsuke

Kiritsuke with a 231 mm edge length (measured from tip to heel)
A unique knife, forged and heat-treated by Satoshi Nakagawa. The knife was delivered to us as a "blank" which is a finished shape and heat treatment but without grind or finish. Our good friend and colleague in the industry, Erik Mases of Shinogi Sliperi in Stockholm, has spent considerable time giving this masterpiece the grind and profile it truly deserves! Once the blade was completed, we mounted the finest handle we could find: Quince wood with a blonde buffalo horn ferrule.
