This is a truly beautiful and luxurious knife, hand-forged by the blacksmith Takeshi Saji. He works in the Japanese city of Takefu, and Saji has long held the esteemed title of Dento Kogeishi, a title awarded by the Japanese government to the country’s most skilled artisans.
