Santoku
Santoku knife with a 165 mm blade and a custom handle made from desert ironwood.
Taguchi is a young bladesmith from Takefu Knife Village who recently began working under his own name after several years with Yoshimi Kato. This is one of the very first knives to leave his own workshop, and we are proud to present his work outside of Japan.
The knife features a 165 mm Damascus blade with a VG-10 core, a steel known for combining excellent sharpness, good wear resistance, and easy maintenance. The geometry is thin behind the edge, with an impressive distal taper from the heel all the way to the tip. This gives the knife a light and agile feel in hand while delivering exceptional precision.
