DMT Dia-Paste™ is an oil-based diamond compound designed for polishing and final finishing on strops, leather, or other flat surfaces. The compound helps build a sharper and more durable edge with a highly polished finish and reduced cutting friction. It is ideal as the final step after sharpening on whetstones, or for regular edge maintenance between sharpening sessions. The diamond compound works exceptionally well for kitchen knives, straight razors, woodworking tools, and other precision tools where maximum sharpness and finish are desired.

Dia-Paste is available in 3 different grits, sold individually or as a set. All versions come in convenient 2-gram syringes:

6 micron / 4000 mesh – Removes fine scratches and provides an initial polish
3 micron / 8000 mesh – Creates a glossy and extremely sharp edge
1 micron / 15000 mesh – For an ultra-polished mirror finish and maximum sharpness

Apply a small amount of compound to a strop or other flat surface. Then draw the edge across the surface using a controlled angle and light pressure until the desired result is achieved.
