This is an exciting product. A medium-coarse natural stone, aoto, that produces dark and covering kasumi with nice contrasts. However, it does not become entirely free from scratches as it is a coarser stone compared to polishing stones, but the scratch pattern is very even and its easy to make dark kasumi.

The edge gets really sharp and provides great bite. This is a stone you can use as an intermediate step in your hunt to a high polish kasumi. Alternatively, you can stay at this level and enjoy a covering kasumi that is quick and easy to recreate.
