Yanagiba
A single-beveled yanagiba with a blade length of 263 mm (measured from tip to heel).
Forged in Japan by the highly skilled smith Tooru Tamura and sharpened by the renowned sharpener Tateo Myojin, this knife is made from Aogami #2 carbon steel and reflects the finely calibrated precision of classic Sakai-style craftsmanship. The forging is precise and focused on pure cutting performance, resulting in a blade with excellent balance and outstanding edge geometry.
The knife has a comfortable weight and fits naturally in the hand. The edge itself is very thin, allowing it to move effortlessly through ingredients with exceptional cutting performance.
