Takobiki
Sakimaru Takobiki, double-beveled, with a 410 mm long blade, measured from tip to heel.
This knife was forged, rough-shaped, and heat-treated by Satoshi Nakagawa. The blade was then ground and finished by Erik here at cleancut. Finally, the knife was fitted with a custom padouk handle, featuring a spacer in stabilized birch root.
The kanji on the saya and blade reads: Made by Nakagawa in Ao#1 core steel.

Satoshi Nakagawa is without question one of the most skilled blacksmiths in Sakai, Japan. After 16 years working as a smith under Shiraki, he became independent and now oversees his own designs and production methods. His blades are forged using traditional Japanese techniques and are of the highest possible quality. The knife has a satisfying weight and feels as if molded to the hand. The edge is extremely thin, offering outstanding cutting performance.
