The core is made of Gingami #3, a high-quality stainless steel with a hardness of 61 HRC. This gives the knife excellent edge retention while still being easy to sharpen when needed. The core steel is clad in two layers of stainless steel with a beautifully coarse nashiji finish that gives the blade a rustic yet elegant character.
The handle is made from mixed pakkawood with three stainless steel rivets, a combination that provides balance, comfort, and long-lasting durability.
