A chef knife in SK-4 carbon steel. It is not stainless and needs to be kept dry to avoid rusting over time. In return, it gets a beautiful patina on the blade and the knife is easy to sharpen. It fits well both as a first real knife and as a professional tool for the experienced chef.
Keep in mind that SK-4 is a carbon steel that is not stainless. Therefore, be sure to wipe the knife dry after use to avoid rust.
