Handle: Okto handles in walnut with ferrule in red pakka wood.
These knives are made from SG2 powder steel and are thin, tall and balance great. Mr. Ogata used to work with the renowned blacksmith Shiro Kamo as a sharpener and he became an independent maker 3 years ago. Laser cutting and heat treatment is done by Takefu Tokushu Steel. All remaining processes are done by Ogata san with assistance from his wife.
